Meet Our Director

Hi! I have been the Administrator and Director of Little Star since July of 2013, but have been with this daycare since 2011 - where I began working with 4-year-olds. I have been in the Early Childhood field since 2007 and have been blessed to have had the opportunity to work with every age group. My husband and I have two young children, Leah (8 years) and Ahren (6 years). We are so blessed that God has chosen us to be their parents. We enjoy staying active by playing outside, traveling & playing with our dogs, cat, sea monkeys and guinea pig! I am so excited to have you be a part of our Little Star family!

Meet Our Assistant Director

Ms. Krystina

Hello, my name is Felicia and I have been working at Little Star since June 2015. I have worked in the baby room ever since I started here and have loved it!
My husband and I have 3 kids - Oaklyn, Kasen, and Jordyn. My kids all have attended here at little star and have such great friendships they have formed already at such a young age.
At the baby room I have spent majority of my time being the lead teacher of the 1-2 year olds, but now have been assistant director and have loved learning more of the dynamics of the office side of the daycare. My main focus is at the baby room still and love introducing new babies and families to our crew! My office is over at the baby room, but I am able to step into the classrooms often which I love doing! We all make a great team in wanting Little Star to be as efficient as possible!

Hi! My name is Kym and I have been at Little Star since July 2019! Before joining the Little Star team, I worked as a caregiver for mentally and physically disabled adults which I did for 10 years. I am very passionate about helping others and being able to make a difference in someone's life. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, reading, and crocheting.
I have been married for 10 years to my wonderful husband, Michael. In May we expanded our family by taking in our nephews. We now have 5 children: Brett (17), Jaylin (15), Ivy (8), Javan (2), and Kyrie (8 months). Although it has not been an easy road and it is far from over, we are thankful for all the support we have gotten, a lot which has come through my co-workers here at Little Star.
I began as an assistant teacher in our two year old room, where I eventually stepped up as lead teacher. Recently, I have accepted a new position as assistant director alongside my coworker Felicia and am very excited for this new opportunity. Little Star has become a second home to me, and I am grateful to be part of our close knit community. It is amazing to be able to help children learn and watch their personalities grow. I am excited to be able to welcome your family into our center!

Meet Our Center Cook

Ms. June

Hello, I am Ms, June. I joined the Little Star team full time in December 2021 as Center Cook. I filled in at Little Star during the winter of 2019 as lead teacher in the Toddler Room and again winter of 2020 in the capacity of Center Cook.
I started my 20+ years Daycare Career after attending CVTC in the late 80's/early 90's in Early Childhood Education. I have wroked both in a large daycare setting and my own in-home daycare center/pre-school. In my 15+ years of my in-home I mraised many children from birth to school and have had the privledge to watch most of them grow into beatiful adults that I am still involved with and have serval of them start their own families.
My cooking expierence comes from cooking for places like my high school's boarding school, which I was hired to do right after I graduated and did for several years. Along with that I also cooked for other large group daycares and a large assisted living facility. I have spent the last 18 years living in the plains of Montana where the last 13+ years have owned a Historic Bar and Cafe, The Jersey Lilly, which is on the Montana Historic Registry and inducted into the Montana Cowbow Hall of Fame.
I am the mother of 2 grown children, my daughter, Krystina, whom you all know and my son, Kyle. I am Nana to 2 grandchildren, Leah and Ahren. I am extremely gateful that I am able to spend so much time with my family.
Other than spending time with my family, I enjoy loving up on my 2 pups, Carlie and Rosco and my 18 year old cat, Teddy. I read when I am able and love to travel.
Although my title at Little Star is Center Cook, I do at times get to step into classrooms and lend a hand and enjoy interacting with all the children.

Hi! I'm miss Anela or Nela to some of your younger kiddos and I've been at Little star since March of 2022. In that time I've worked with all the age groups, before taking over in the Sunshine room. Along with working here, I'm also a reservist in the US Army Reserves and have been in for just under a decade. Watching your kiddos grow and learn, as well as being part of that process is the most fun and rewarding part of working with them! I look forward to getting to know you and your kiddos!

Hi, I am Ms. Liz. I have been teaching at Little Star for 7 years and have taught 4K here for 4. I am married with 2 kids and a dog. We love to play games and be outside together. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, and shopping. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Hello, my name is Alexis! I have been at Little Star since July 2019. I live in Eau Claire with my husband and our two children: Connor (10) and Avaree (5). I have had the opportunity to work with all age groups, but I have found a home with the 2 year olds! I love watching children grow and learn new things everyday!

Hello, my name is Becky! I have been here at Little Star since June of 2019. I live in Eau Claire with my family. I have been in the baby room since I started and wouldn't have it any other way! I love watching the children grow every day and learning new skills throughout the year!

Hi I am Stephanie and I have been working in the baby room since August of 2015. I graduated from CVTC with my Associates Degree in early childhood education in May of 2015. In my spare time I love listening to music and binge watching my favorite shows. I am so grateful to be a part of this team and be able to help your child grow.

Hello, my name is Jessica I have been working here since July 2022. I have three kids, Kaylyne, Draesen, and Daylani who all attend the daycare with me. I have been working in daycare for seven years and specifically infants for five now. This is my third time back at little star; third times a charm right? I have made such good relationships with the staff here and all the kiddos. In my free time I like to spend time with my family, being outside, and going shopping.

Ms. Barb

Hi family, friends, and children of Little Star. I am Miss Barb (Bop Bop) and I work in the Tiny Twinkler room. I have studied at CVTC for childcare and studied Spanish and Business Administration at Blackhawk Tech in Janesville, WI my home town. Before I started working at Little Star, I took some time to help my husband to run our 3rd generation, 45 cow dairy farm. We had to give up the dairy farm in 2020, so that my husband could work off the farm in Altoona, WI. I have two sons, Ryan and Lucas. I have many interests but mostly like to spend time reading, fishing, or quilting. I continue to study via video and books on how to better serve the little kiddo's I care for. They are the joy of my world I love to teach and watch them grow into special human beings. I so enjoy working for a faith based organization and look forward to serve as God has directed me with love and grace according to Jesus's commands.
